I made this little lootbox from concept to the final animated 3-D asset for a little app we just released called Slots Of Gold - Big Win. The hand painted style was inspired off a lot of modern games.
This was actually pretty fun for a granny, I'm really enjoying this low polly hand painted style. She is a concept I took from sketch to every thing you see. If you have any thoughts or questions, let me know.

This started as a little fun sketch and just kept the ball rolling and next thing I know I have a full 3D scene with sound and everything. Also this is going to be my submission for the sound contest.

I was tempted to title this Holy Smokes but the original concept Cthu but with my own twist. Most of the insperation came from the music, "Clams Casino" and also lead me to use fractals for a lot of the texturing, including the background.
